How about a Christmas craft to get your juices flowing?

Have you finished your bottle of wine yet? When you do, wash it out very good and allow it to dry.. You can remove the paper around it while it’s wet or leave it if you wish.

Take a piece of burlap. Easy to get at any store. Fit it around the middle of the bottle and cut, leaving just enough to over lap the other end. Using hot glue, fasten the burlap in pace being careful not to leave lumps. I like to apply the glue to the very top and bottom of the burlap, so as not to leave lumps in the middle portions.

Take your favorite decorative Christmas ribbon and cut it to fit around the top and bottom edges of the burlap. Glue in place just as you did the burlap.

If you aren’t artistically inclined, take a Christmas stencil of your choice along with some fabric paint. Place the stencil where you want the picture to be on your burlap and paint it onto the burlap. This can also be done prior to gluing the burlap to your bottle.

You are ready to insert small battery operated lights inside your bottle and enjoy. I hope you all have a very merry Christmas.

Household Tps and Tricks :

• Use a 🥔 potato peeler on your stick of butter to get a nice thin slice of butter for your toast.
• Clean those shower heads. Mix equal parts white veniger and water. Put into a plastic baggie. Wrap the baggie around your shower head and secure with a rubber band. Let soak for an hour then remove. Wipe the loosened build up from the shower head and enjoy.
• Debunk couches and dog beds. Sprinkle the surface with baking soda let sit and vacuum away the odars.

Make Your Voice Heard

If you are someone who is a writer who would like someone to read what you have written and possibly get opinions, here is a safe place to do that. Other authors published and unpublished are using a site I have looked into which is Wattpad. It has many creative writers there waiting for their big break. I have used Reedsy. I have found a very good editor that I have been currently working with but my financial means have been depleted. Editors and publishers can be expensive and I know my means of having the income to pay for these are very limited. I am turning to friends and family and now this site of mine for the guidance I need. I would like to provide you with the same guidance. If there are other sites that someone would like to recommend let us know and if we can help let me post your story.

Can You Hear Me Now?

Not quite sure why it happens but it does. The idea that if you voice your opinions and your feelings someone is actually listening. I feel if I sit and talk in a manner that is respectful I will be heard and understood. It turns out that’s not the case. Screaming and yelling seems to make the eyebrows and all eyes to look at you and hear what you have to say. Please tell me I’m not alone in this?
